UPDATE, Dec. 27: Resurfacing work on Samford Avenue between Dean Road and Oak Street is expected to continue during the week of Dec. 30.

Dec. 23: AUBURN, Ala.- A contractor will begin street resurfacing work on Samford Avenue between Dean Road and Oak Street today, Dec. 23, as part of the City's ongoing resurfacing efforts. Work is expected to continue throughout the week.

Intermittent lane closures are expected during the work. All residences will remain accessible in the area.

Drivers are advised to use caution in the area. The City thanks the public for their patience as we ensure Auburn's roads are properly maintained.
